The Department at a Glance

Department of Private Law

The USC Department of Private Law was founded in 2000. Many students have graduated from the department so far. It has managed to train students who have successfully passed higher education entrance examinations of governmental and Azad universities and central and provincial bar associations.

In 2006, it launched a master’s program in private law after obtaining the required permits from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. Finally, it was given the green light to admit students of private law at Ph.D. level in 2012. Similar to philosophy and mathematics, law is mainly dependent on reasoning. Therefore, the department seeks to enhance the students’ reasoning through hard work and practice.

In addition to faculty members, a number of prominent Tehran-based law professors cooperate with the department as visiting professors. They are professional, committed, experienced, successful, and intimate with the students, traits that play an important role in training successful students.
